Kind words

If you are looking for a unique venue for your wedding, you need to book the Historic German House. My husband and I keep saying, if we had to plan our wedding 100 times, we would always choose the German House.

The building itself is absolutely stunning, with its historic charm and elegance. It was the perfect backdrop for wedding photos (I especially loved the Highland Suite and the theatre seating in the balcony). I think it’s a particularly great venue for late fall/winter weddings because of how beautiful the architecture is. Photographing outdoors is always my first preference, but I loved photographing indoors at The Historic German House

It was truly incredible!! From the planning the year before to the big day, all of our bases were covered. The staff at HGH is detail-oriented and very friendly :) They are also very flexible which is HUGE, especially when so many things can change in a moment’s notice. If you want to have an event that will impress people, and will run smoothly, this is the place.
